The mattress is made from purely natural materials. It’s cotton on the outside and inside it’s filled with kapok.
The kapok-mattress doesn’t get clammy and damp, as kapok naturally repel moisture. It leaves your skin to breathe.

Kapok is an organic material which comes from the fruit of the kapok tree. It is similar to a mixture of wool and down.

The fibres of kapok are surrounded by a waxy membrane which makes kapok water-resistant. The membrane prevents moth, dust mites and bacteria from getting inside the fibres. This is a great advantage for people who suffers from allergies.

Kapok is self-cleaning. It contains a natural acidity drug, which also prevents bacteria from thriving.

If you spill something on the fabric, you can wash off the spot with soapwater and a wet cloth. Use the water sparingly. Leave the mattress in the sun for drying. The kapok is water resistant. When the fabric is dry, the mattress is dry.

If you after some time feel, that the mattress has become flat, you can give it a beat! An old fashioned carpet beater is good to use. Beat the mattress and the kapok will raise and become light and airy again.
